Young Achievers Program
Aspire Young Achiever Awards, since 2009, are annually bestowed upon three young achievers, under 30 years of age as on 30 September of the year, in the field of sports, art, culture, academics or civil society, who demonstrate awe-inspiring achievements. The award carries INR 1 Lac Cash Scholarship. Our young achievers are trail-blazers. We are proud to have identified and supported many young people, from humble background, all national heros, before their peak performances. For example,
- Arunima Sinha, the amputee mountaineer won the award in 2012 before scaling Mt. Everest in 2013;
- Rani Rampal, India’s women hockey stalwart won the award in 2013, before she became India’s hockey captain in 2018;
- Swapna Burman, Indian heptathlete won the award in 2017 before she won the Asian Games Heptathlon Gold in 2018, and,
- Saina Nehwal, the badminton star, was sponsored by Aspire Impact & was our Brand Ambassador from 2008-2013, when she just entered world Top50. She became World #1 in 2015.
Starting 2020, the awards will only be conferred on young and talented individuals from humble or underprivileged backgrounds to inspire them, at an annual ceremony hosted by Aspire Circle and sponsored by Aspire Impact.
